This shot was taken at the end of a miserable, cold, rainy day. I had written it off as a Bad day. But right as the sun set, the clouds began to part and the sun broke through like silver. The light was even more beautiful (and honestly more appreciated) than it would have been had it been shining down from a clear blue sky all day.
I learned a couple of of lessons: One, don't ever take the good times for granted, and two, never give up hope. Remember that no matter how cold and gray your view is right now, there is a brilliant sun burning behind the clouds and it will always eventually shine through, often when you least expect it!
