- Gardens Aglow Heritage Museums, Sandwich (11/29-12/29) Enjoy Heritage in a whole new light. Visit Santa Claus in the 1913 Model T Ford. View a huge model train display and create a mural on a Giant Lite-Brite. Take a spin (or two) on the vintage carousel and roast marshmallows together at the fire pits. [$0-$20]
- Lighting of the Lobster Pot Tree,Provincetown (11/30) The Lobster Pot Tree will be lit on Saturday, 11/30 at 5:30 pm. The tree frame consists of over 100 lobster pots. The tree trimmings include approximately 120 bows, 3,400 LED lights, plastic lobsters and buoys. [FREE]
- Love Local Fest, Barnstable (12/7-8) at Barnstable High School in Hyannis, connects the Cape Cod community with local makers and businesses for the ultimate holiday shopping event! This year’s event is partially sponsored by our own Michelle Kaye Photography and will also include Housing Assistance Corporation - HAC's 16th Annual Telethon for HOPE. Funky holiday music by DJ Ian Lee and a Kids Zone sponsored by Ten Pin Eatery [FREE/$5 optional donation]
- Hyannis Harbor Lighting, Hyannis (12/7) At 4:30pm (right after the Hyannis Christmas stroll) gather at the docks to watch harbor homes and businesses light up to welcome Santa and his boat parade. Chowder, hot chocolate, cookies, Christmas music by Cool 102, and children’s crafts. Free parking near the park. [FREE]
- Dennis Village Stroll (12/8) Stroll around Dennis Village and soak in the holiday spirit. Our must-do stops: Horse-drawn carriage ride, pick up this year's ornament at Millstone Pottery, free hot soup samples at the Merc, kids crafts inside Dennis Union Church [FREE]
- Bass River Cookie Stroll, Yarmouth (12/14) Stroll or take the shuttle around historic Bass River village for the 14th Annual Cookie Stroll - the largest fundraiser for the South Yarmouth Library Association. Tour 6 homes and local businesses decked out in their holiday finery and enjoy sweet treats along the way [$0-$20]
- Choral Concert & Living Creche, Dennis Union Church, Dennis Village (12/14) Enjoy the sounds of the season inside, then move out to the village green for a living creche with real animals, people (including a baby Jesus!) plus carolers and a special appearance by our 'town crier' proclaiming the good news. - *Gingerbread House Workshop* The Pheasant, Dennis (sponsored by TCH!) (12/15) You gotta come to this one! The Cape House is sponsoring this first annual family friendly Christmas event which is sure to become a Cape Cod family tradition. [$15]
- Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra, A Mostly English Holiday, Pilgrim church Harwich (12/15) The CCCO takes a trip over seas with more beautiful English music for strings. This concert is in part a benefit for the Alzheimer's Family Support Center of Cape Cod. [$30-$100]
- Local’s Christmas at CC Beer, Hyannis (12/20) Get funky! This one is for the locals. Celebrate that all your holiday prep is done! Or brace yourself for all the prep work you still have left to do.
